President departs on tour of A. A. Atoll

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has departed on a half-day tour of two islands in the A. A. Atoll.

President’s Spokesperson, Ibrahim Hoodh reports the tour is on occasion of World Human Rights Day and National Fishermen’s Day being marked this Monday.

Solih’s first visit was to A. A. Ukulhas where he launched the island council’s website.

He also delivered a speech to the public, and is scheduled to meet with local business owners and fishermen.

Solih will next visit A. A. Feridhoo and return to Male’ City this Monday evening.
