Eem's Henna Art Masterclass ends a success

The Henna Art Masterclass taught by Hani Baluch – a popular henna artist from Bahrain – has been successfully concluded.

The two-day classes – organized by up-and-coming entrepreneur and artist Eem Nizam, The Henna Art Beauty Center of Bahrain and Avant Garde Mindset – began at the Marble Hotel last Friday afternoon.

Dozens of henna art enthusiasts applied for the classes but only a limited 30 spots were made.

The classes were held three-hour sessions on Friday and Saturday.

Participants were briefed on the history of henna, and trained on its uses, the different styles of henna designs, rolling henna cones, making own henna paste, achieving a dark henna stain, getting henna supplies, creating and practicing basic designs and patterns, advance level bridal and party henna, how to start a henna business and branding, modern colored henna and jaguar henna.

Speaking to press after the successful conclusion of the Henna Art Masterclass, Eem Nizam said she had always to teach the local community such forms of art. She said multiple young women have learned many aspects of the henna art business through the classes, and that she was confident henna art businesses could produce a good income.

Hani Baluch, who taught the classes is a certified trainer from Bahrain. She has also been featured in the popular middle east newspaper Gulf News.

Participants of the Henna Art Masterclass were provided certificates and a surprise gift hamper.

Additional partners of the classes include Zai’s Art Ethics, Medhufaru Inn, Grand Empress, Nine Arch Concepts, Duchess.mv, Marble Hotel and Olhuveli Maldives.

Eem thanked all partners of the event for their support.
