President meets with Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia

President Dr Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik has met with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud last night.

The President’s Office said that discussions at the meeting were focused on the close bilateral relations between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia, and ways to further strengthen the close relations.

The President briefed the Crown Prince on the economic state of the country, and the challenges currently faced by the Maldives.

The Saudi Crown Prince also assured President Waheed of Saudi government’s continuous cooperation and support to the Maldives.
