Major changes to Allied's travel insurance

Insurance company, Allied Insurance has brought major changes to the travel insurance they provide.

At the ongoing Allied Special Event, the company announced that 19 changes have been brought to their travel insurance scheme.

Allied said that their travel insurance plan was originally targeted for business travelers but in the past five years, most Maldivians have traveled to Asian counties on holiday.

And so Allied has opened their travel insurance for holiday travelers as well.

Changes to the the travel insurance scheme include wider definition of baggage loss along with insurance for cash money lost on the visits abroad regardless of the travel.

Allied Insurance said that their travel insurance has been re-branded as "Traveler's Insurance" and be available for customers from 1 March on wards.
