Expatriate teacher accused of physically abusing student in Gulhi

An expatriate teacher working at K. Gulhi School has been accused of physically abusing one of the school’s students.

“Sun” has been informed the case was filed with the Gulhi Police Station last Tuesday night.

The student, a 10-year-old girl studying in 5th grade, was taken to the Gulhi Health Center for treatment by the police.

Photos depicting her injuries, as well as the prescription for her injuries have been circulating in the social media.

A senior official at the Gulhi Health Center who spoke to “Sun” said a young girl was treated at the center after official hours on Tuesday night. The official refused to disclose any details as the case involves a minor.

The police media official has confirmed to “Sun” the authority is investigating a case involving physical abuse of a student.

The Gulhi School said it does not want to make any comment on the case. But it did not deny the existence of such an issue either.
