10th grader attacked inside Thaajuddin School

A group of individuals entered Thaajuddin School and physically assaulted one of the school’s students this Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the incident was reported to the authority at approximately 12:36 pm.

Police said those who participated in the assault have been arrested, but did not disclose the number of suspects.

The student injured in the incident is being treated at the Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, says the police.

“Sun” has been informed the student injured in the incident is a 10th grade student, and that he was stabbed in the head with a sharp object.

Director of Public Relations at IGMH, Ahmed Mausoom said the student injured in the incident is being treated at the Emergency Room of the hospital. The hospital has not disclosed any details.
