Ten day remand for people arrested for the attack injuring three

The seven people arrested in relation to the attack involving a knife which took place near M.H.A. Mart yesterday, has been remanded by ten days.

Sources say that remand hearing was held at the Criminal Court this afternoon.

Around 5:50 p.m. yesterday, the gang attack on Fareedhee Magu injured Abdubakuru Faariu (Noonu Milandhoo). He is currently in critical condition, on the ventilator at the hospital.

The other victim in the attack is also being treated at the hospital but he is not in critical condition.

Both victims of the attack have charges pending in relation to a gang attack near Alcyon Bakery which took place on 19 July 2017.
