Yaamin Rasheed was killed in the early hours of 23 April 207.

All six people are charged with first degree murder with a sharp object. As they did in the preliminary hearings, the defence lawyers complained that they have not received all the documents from the authorities.

The Prosecutor General's Office said that only some of the hearings will be help behind closed doors.

At a police press conference, they have said that Yaamin was followed from his work on the night of 22 April 2017 around 2:23 a.m. by two people. And they followed him up to the no.3 jetty.

The Police said they know the people behind the murder and are being investigated but there are no political connections.
