Siyam: Students must respect the teachers that shows right and wrong

MP for Meedhoo constituency and the founder of Sun Foundation, Ahmed Siyam Mohamed has said that the students must respect the teachers that are there to explain and show right from wrong.

Speaking at the Prize Day ceremony of Dhaalu atoll Bandidhoo School, MP Siyam said that humans are given free will but we always have to choose the good way and it is the parents and teachers that teaches us what they are.

In his speech, Siyam said the teachers themselves have to be adequate at their job and the teachers at Bandidhoo School are highly educated, experienced teachers. Siyam said that learning from the book is half of the education and the other part is discipline and advised the students to be those with a good discipline.

The MP also advised to all students to begin the day with the early morning, Fajr Prayer to be successful in their education.

Siyam also praised the top student, Mohamed Nayyaz saying that he is a student that had taken a keen interest in learning and assured that he would be given an opportunity to study further. He also advised that all the students aspire to learn as such.
