One of the three people involved in the motorcycle accident in Maradhoo-Feydhoo main road last Wednesday night is in intensive care, says Hithadhoo Regional Hospital.
The accident took place when one of the motorcycles attempting to overtake the other lost control and crashed into the back of a parked car. One of the motorcycles was being driven by two women, and the other by a man.
An official from Hithadhoo Hospital reported to “Sun” that one male and two female accident victims were taken to the hospital. The official said the male accident victim was in intensive care.
“One of the female victims is in stable condition. We are making arrangements to send the other two to Male’. The two of them have head injuries, the male has a broken leg,” said the official.
The hospital reports the male will be sent to Male’ City on the afternoon flight this Thursday, and that the female will also be sent sometime this Thursday.
