Council: Robbers stole an empty safe from Fiyoari Court

The safe stolen from G. Dh. Fiyoari Magistrate Court last Monday night did not have any money inside, reports Fiyoari Council.

President of Fiyoari Council, Shuzam Solih reported to “Sun” that the safe was stolen at midnight after robbers broke into the window of the court office.

A police media official informed “Sun” the robbery was reported to the authority at 8 am, this Tuesday. The police say they are investigating the case.

Shuzam said robbers stole safes from both the Fiyoari Health Center and the STO Pharmacy in the island in additional robberies this year. He said the money from the safes have not yet been recovered.

Police was unavailable for comment regarding the two cases.
