4th Maldives Investment Forum to be held in Dubai

The 4th edition of Maldives Investment Forum is to be held at the Trade Center in Dubai on December 18, 2017.

The date and venue of the 4th MIF was announced at the launching held at the National Art Gallery last Wednesday night.

Speaking during the event, Minister of Economic Development Mohamed Saeed said the forum will have participants from across the globe, and will help Maldives gain additional investments.

Saeed said the government will aim towards marketing investment opportunities available in other areas, in addition to tourism.

Saeed said the previous editions of the forum; held in Singapore, China and India were a success. And helped Maldives get more foreign investment.

He said the event will include an inaugural ceremony - which government ministers from two countries will attend, a discussion session for Maldivian and international businesses, and a gala dinner.
