Police search for individuals who created disturbance inside Male’ Prison

Police have asked for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a group of individuals who issued threats to officers and created disturbance inside the waiting area of Male’ Prison.

Police released video of the incident this Monday. However, neither the police not Maldives Correctional Service has disclosed the date on which the disturbance took place.

The video shows 10 men yelling and interacting with officers in the waiting area of Male’ Prison. It then shows words exchanged between the men and officers and shows the men walking out of the building.
