2 arrested in connection with Sunday’s stabbing in Addu

Two people have been arrested in connection with the stabbing which took place in Hithadhoo, Addu City last Sunday night.

The stabbing took place in a physical dispute between two individuals at in the Hithadhoo main road at approximately 11 pm. The two individuals involved in the dispute are both 17-year-old boys.

One of the boys suffered head injuries while the other was stabbed in the abdomen.

Addu Regional Hospital reported nether of the two boys suffered any critical injuries, and were discharged from the hospital after treatment on Sunday night.

“Sun” has been informed the incident took place in front of the Hithadhoo Multi-Shop. And that the area did not have any electricity when the incident took place.
