The woman who suffered head injuries in the traffic collision which took place in Hithadhoo, Addu City on Tuesday has been brought to Male’ City for treatment.
The traffic collision took place between two motorcycles near the shop “Checkmark” located in the Hithadhoo main road last Tuesday evening. One motorcycle going at highspeed had collided with another motorcycle which had turned in from another road.
Four people were injured in the accident. The three other accident victims have been discharged from the hospital after treatment, while the woman was treated at intensive care.
Manager of Addu Regional Hospital, Mohamed Najeeb reported to “Sun” the woman was in critical condition, and that she has now been transported to Male’ City for treatment.
“She has suffered head injuries, her jaw is broken,” said Najeeb.
