Paraphernalia used for sorcery have been confiscated by the police in a raid on two houses in H. A. Ihavandhoo.
The paraphernalia were found and confiscated in an operation run by Ihavandhoo Police Station on October 1 and October 2, based on intelligence received by the police.
The police discovered papers with spells written on them, and 32 books on sorcery from the raid on one of the houses.
Police report the case is under investigation.
