WAMCO employee collecting waste attacked

An employee of the Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) on duty who went to collect waste has been attacked.

Police said that an attack on a man employed at WAMCO was reported around 12:30 a.m. last night and is currently being investigated. The attack took place at Enboo Goalhi according to the police.

WAMCO said that the employee who was attacked was a local man and he sustained head trauma in the attack and his left was broken. WAMCO said that the man is still admitted at the hospital.

No arrests have been made regarding the attack.
