IGMH: Woman injured in fire in stable condition

Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has said that the elderly woman injured in the fire last night is now in stable condition.

The fire at Fascinationge, Mahchangolhi, last night began on a washing machine.

Last night, the hospital said that the elderly woman had sustained 70 percent burns. After treatment, today, the hospital said that the doctor's have confirmed that it was 55 percent burns that the victim sustained.

The woman's condition is improving as she is currently in treatment, admitted at IGMH.

The cause of the fire is still unclear.
