Maldivian delegation for SAYS leaves for India

The Maldivian delegation taking part in the first South Asian Youth Summit (SAYS) this Sunday has left for India.

A total of 26 participants from the Maldives including, journalists and performers left for the summit on a Maldivian flight to Chennai today. The delegation would leave for Bhubaneswar City, where the summit is being held, tomorrow.

RAFY Organization said that participants from Sri Lanka, Malaysia and six participants from other Indian states would be joining the team later.

And while a special stall would be at the Summit to showcase the Maldivian culture and traditions, the Summit will be held from 17 to 20 September.

As the local media partner of SAYS, Sun Online is set to bring special coverage of the Summit, the head of the Media Delegation leaving to India is the COO of Sun Media Group, Minha Faaiz with Fathimath Aruma from the English Edition and Mohamed Simaau from the Dhivehi Edition.

The official airline of the Maldivian delegation in SAYS is Maldivian. And supporters include Sun Siyam Resorts, The Hawks Pvt. Ltd., Coca Cola/Malé Aerated Water Company Pvt. Ltd. and Airport Beach Hotel.
