National Institute of Education (NIE) has said that the Fourth International Teachers Conference is set to begin next month.
NIE said that international experts would be taking part in the Conference that would be held on 12 and 13 October.
Speaking at a press conference at Ghazee Building today, the Senior Policy Executive of the Education Ministry, Dr. Ahmed Riyaz, said that the spirit of researching has to be fostered in the schools.
He said that the aim of the conference is to pave the way for improvement in education in the light of the researches presented at the conference.
Dr. Riyaz said the schools in the atolls can also take part in the International Teacher's Conference, held once every two years, along with students in the higher secondary level.
Head of School of Research and Development, Aminath Ali said that application to attend the conference is open from 1 - 8 October 2017 and online application to join is open.
NIE said that the managing partner of the Fourth International Teachers Conference is Cambridge University Press.
