Police issue recruitment announcement

Maldives Police Service has issued a public recruitment announcement via the Government Gazette.

The announcement, published in the Government Gazette last Tuesday, instructs interested candidates to submit their application forms by 4 pm of October 19.

The candidates are required to have scored minimum “C”s in at least three GCE O’ Levels or Secondary School Certificates; or scored minimum “C”s in at least two GCE O’ Levels or Secondary School Certificates and have a Level III or higher certificate accredited by Maldives Qualification Authority.

The candidates need to be 18 – 25 years of age.

The minimum height requirement for males is 5’ 3”, and the minimum height requirement for females is 5’.

The candidates also need to have a clean criminal record for the past five years, and have no affiliation with any political party in the Maldives. The candidates also need to be fit enough to participate in the police training program.
