Rasrani Bageecha makes over MVR 10,000 in 5 days

Rasrani Bageecha – the former Sultan’s Park – made MVR 10,650 in the first five days since its opening, reports Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure.

The money was made from the entrance fee charged on foreigners who visit the park, reports Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure. 142 foreigners visited the park in its first five days.

It is unclear what the money will be allocated for.

MVR 75 is charged as entrance fee from foreigners over the age of 18 years, who visit the park on weekdays from 6 am to 4 pm.

The same fee is charged between 6 am to 4 pm on weekends and holidays. MVR 100 is charged from 4 pm to 11 pm.

Entrance is free of charge for Maldivians and foreigners under the age of 18 years.

The Ransrani Bageecha is closed from 6 pm to 8 pm, and also from 11 pm to 2 am on Fridays.
