Qasim collapses inside courtroom

Leader of Jumhoory Party, Qasim Ibrahim has fainted inside the courtroom in the middle of his hearing.

The Maamingili MP collapses at the hearing of the bribery charges against him at the Criminal Court today.

Today's hearing had the testimonies from the defense on the evidence and the closing statements on the agenda. But the hearing was put to a halt after Qasim collapsed.

Qasim was charged with bribery after he made a comment saying that would let the MPs of JP, who left the party for PPM run for reelection on the JP ticket if they rejoin the party.
