Sultan Park renamed to "Rasrani Bageecha" with major changes

The historic Sultan Park has gone through major renovations and has been reopened tonight with the new name "Rasrani Bageechaa".

The park was opened by the President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.

President and the First Lady along with their youngest child took a tour of the park.

The new park includes modern approach to info-graphic history along with spacious sporting grounds.

The Rasrani Bageechaa includes:

- An art deck

- Advanced classrooms for modern learning which also work as hosting arena for functions

- A histroy hub

- Three playing grounds

- Fountain

Among the attendees tonight include MPs and State Ministers including the Housing Minister, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
