Special stand at STO Supermart for local products

A special stand has been allocated for local products at the STO Supermart.

The special stand was inaugurated today at a special ceremony held at the STO Supermart today by the Managing Director of STO< Ahmed Shaheer. Speaking at the ceremony, Shaheer said that the area the Supermart is located is a popular area among tourists as well and so selling local products at STO gets a market for the products.

Shaheer said that a special Local Corner has been opened at the Supermart after training those that produce local products. He said that the new corner at STO would benefit small and mid-level businesses.

Senior General Manager of STO Supermart, Fathimath Ashaan said that those who want to produce local products has an easy road open to them and compared to 2014, the number of local products registered with STO has increased.
