Previous owner of Sungu TV ordered to pay over MVR 900,000 to PSM

Civil Court has passed a ruling against the previous owner of Sungu TV, Seven Media Pvt. Ltd. to pay over MVR 900,000 to Public Service Media (PSM).

The sentence passed last Monday said that Sangu TV had failed to pay the satellite up-link service provided by the Maldives Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) according to the documents presented in the case, the testimony of the plaintiff, PSM.

According to the verdict delivered in absentia, the company that previously owned Sangu TV was ordered to pay MVR 954,134.70 in a duration of one month.
