Police issues alert to find three people related to three cases

Maldives Police Service has issued an alert to find three people in relation to three cases being investigated by the General Investigation Department.

In a statement issued by the statement today, Police said said that they are looking for Ibrahim Niyaz, 32, from Kaafu atoll Kaashidhoo, Mohamed Abdul Majeed, 24, from Noonu Maafaru and Mausoom Fahumee, 36, from Laamu atoll Isdhoo.

Ibrahim Niyaz is being sought in relation to a theft from a landing craft on 6 May 2017.

Police said that Mohamed Abdul Majeed in relation to misappropriation and deception case reported on 6 June 2017.

And Mausoom Fahumee is wanted in connection to a bounced check reported on 14 June 2017.

Police have requested that anyone with information about them to come forward and share the information on the police hotline 332 2111 or via the General Investigation Department number 963 1696.
