Muizzu: Land being sold to enrich the people's reserve

Minister of Housing and Infrastructure, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has said that sale of land from Malé City was opened to enrich the people's reserve.

In a tweet sent out today saying that sales were open within the law.

Housing Ministry has opened sales on a number of lands in the capital.

Lands up for sale include the ten lots from Block 378 near Villa College on Boduthakurufaanu Magu where STO uses to prepare Ready-Mix concrete, six lots from the previous waste disposal site and three from Maafannu Dhandeheluge and the state owned land of Maafannuaage on Orchid Magu.

Proposals from interested parties will be accepted from 20-24 August 2017 from the Ministry.
