After cancelling the agreement with Brothers Catering to develop the pavilion at Rasfannu in the west of the capital city, an announcement has been made seeking a new contractor for the project.
Malé Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) contracted the pavilion project to Brothers Catering on 31 October 2016. However no major progress was observed in the project.
While the first floor of the pavilion requires food outlets, Brothers Catering initially said that they would bring foreign brands such as KFC and Pizza Hut.
An announcement made by the MWSC yesterday said that they are seeking a group to run and maintain the pavilion at Rasfannu and bids are open for the project.
The bid book for the project is being sold for MVR 2,500 and the company will be accepting payments until 10 August and would be issuing the book on 13 and 14 August 2016.
The pre-bid meeting has been set for the morning of 15 August 2017 with the bid submission will be on 21 August. The project requires MVR 50,000 has to be paid as bid security and the bid winner has to present MVR 250,000 has a performance guarantee.
