National Airline, Maldivian, has announced that they are working to start travel to a new destination.
Media Coordinator of Maldivian, Ali Nashaath Hameed told Sun Media that the airline is working to expand it's network before the end of the year which include discussions to enter new markets.
New destinations being considered by Maldivian include South Africa. Nashaath said that they are looking into a direct flight to South Africa. Although no decision has been made so far, discussion are underway.
He said that the airline is also looking to add a new destination in it's biggest market, China.
Maldivian currently have flights to Chanqsha, Chengdu, Chingqing, Nanjing, Wuhan and Xian.
