No-confidence motion re-submitted against Maseeh

Lawmakers have resubmitted a no-confidence motion against Speaker of People’s Majlis, Abdulla Maseeh Mohamed.

Kinbidhoo MP Abdulla Riyaz tweeted this Monday morning that the petition was submitted with the signatures of 45 lawmakers.

Ruling Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) lawmakers who signed the petition include; South Machangolhi MP Abdulla Sinan, Mahibadhoo MP Ahmed Toriq, South Thinadhoo MP Abdulla Ahmed, North Fuvahmulah MP Ali Shah, North Thinadhoo MP Saudhulla Hilmy, Ihavandhoo MP Mohamed Abdulla, Dhidhdhoo MP Abdul Latheef Mohamed, Dhangethi MP Ilhaam Ahmed and Hanimaadhoo MP Hussain Shahudhee.
