MET: Weather will improve starting Monday

National Meteorological Service has said that the weather will improve significantly starting from Monday.

And official from the MET Office said that the current modules show the weather improving starting from Monday but the modules may change.

The official said that rain is expected across the country today as well along with rough seas.

Strong winds are expected in the north and central atolls and so winds may climb between 15-25 mph and 40-50 mph during showers. And winds are expected to be at 8-18 mph from southwest and west for the southern atolls.

With strong winds and rain expected across the country, MET Office advises that all be cautious to the weather.

A number of incidents occurred due to turbulent seas yesterday along with different degrees of damages to some houses and trees in the atolls.
