8 participants from Eem’s makeup class has guaranteed a spot at the Arab Fashion Week

Eight participants from the professional level makeup class has been guaranteed a spot to showcase their talents at the global premier Arab Fashion Week (AFW).

The makeup class was held on Friday and Saturday at the SHE Building in association with Dubai’s Artilla Academy and the main sponsor of Sun Siyam Resorts.

Head of the Artilla Live Styles and Event Manager, Jameela Paul, who taught the class with 25 years of experience in the field, said that Artilla company took part in a fashion week that ended yesterday and if they win the contract for that fashion week next year, selected participants from the classes in the Maldives will be given the opportunity to showcase their talent at the fashion week.

The Arab Fashion Week, on par with the fashion weeks being held in New York, London, Milan and Paris, is on the international calendar and held twice a year.

A lead organizer of the class, popuplar singer and model, Eem Nizam said that eight participants from the class has now been guaranteed a spot at Arab Fashion Week in November 2017.

She said that the opportunity came as a surprise to the organizers as well and the decision was made by Jameela Paul after recognizing the talent of the class.

Eem said that Jameela Paul will be selecting and announcing the eight participants that will be joining the Arab Fashion Week very soon. And she will be visiting the Maldives again to run a special class for the eight selected participants.

She will also be arranging the travel, food and stay along with all other expenses for the Arab Fashion Week.

the makeup class held in the Maldives by the initiative of the Grand Empress and Brilliant S Trading received massive support, the class was held with 39 participants including saloon businesses and celebrities in the country.

The model appointed to the class organized by the popular singer and model, Eem Nizam, was Suneetha Ali (Sunee) who has worked in the Maldivian entertainment industry for 22 years.

The class was hosted by Mariyam Waheeda and the official photographer partner was Shifaz Huthee (Sotti) and Ikoo Photography.
