Taza mineral water production has been increased in response to the water shortage facing Male’ City.
The announcement was made by Island Beverages Maldives Private Limited – which produces
Taza mineral water – in a statement it issued last Monday.
The company said the decision to increase production was due to the rise in demand and usage of mineral water due to the hot weather facing the country.
The company said Taza bottling plants are now operating 24/7 for the benefit of the general population.
Hot weather leading to increase in water usage as well as interruption in supply of Life mineral water has resulted in a shortage of mineral water in the market.
