Fire damages shop in Hulhumale’

A fire inside the shop “Delrio” in Hulhumale’ caused damage to merchandise inside this Sunday.

The shop “Deliro” sells clothes and is located in the row of shops located in Huvandhumaa Hingun in Hulhumale’.

Media official for Maldives National Defense Force, Adnan Mohamed said the fire was reported to the authorities at approximately 12:15 in the afternoon.

The fire was put out at a little last 1 pm through the combined efforts of the police and MNDF.

The fire burned merchandise inside the shop, some of which was damaged beyond repair.
