3 suspects cleared of gang fight prior to Mafaz’s death

Terrorism charge against all three suspects for the gang fight prior to Mafaz’s death by stabbing fail to be proven in court.

The three suspects are:

1. Mohamed Midhuhath, H. Bluebird, Male’ City

2. Ahmed Saeed, H. Eman Manzil, Male’ City

3. Ahmed Rizaam, Male’ Dhafthar no. 1475

Ahmed Mafaz, Hulhuhiri, Maradhoo, Addu City was stabbed to death near G. Masodige in Male’ City at approximately 1:40 am, December 8, 2014.

The three suspects were charged with terrorism for fights between two rival gangs prior to the death.

The Criminal Court judge presiding over the case ruled this Thursday that the charge against the three failed to prove due to lack of sufficient evidence.
