Cocoon Maldives officially launched in Italy

Cocoon Maldives Resort – recently opened on the island of Lh. Ookolhufinolhu – has been officially launched in Milan, Italy.

The resort, which opened on December 26, 2016, has 150 beach villas, lagoon villas, beach suites, lagoon suites and a 300 square-meter presidential suite.

In addition to the “Spa Cocoon”, the resort has two bars and three retaurants.

Speaking during the official launching ceremony in Milan, Managing Director Alessandro Azzola invited tourists from Italy and other European countries to the resort.

He said that five trams will be used to advertise Cocoon Maldives across Milan.

The resort offers diving, water sports and excursions, and offers a special kids club to entertain children.

All the villas, bars and restaurants were designed by leading Italian designing company, Lago.

More than 10 new resorts were opened in Maldives in 2016 and three new resorts have been opened so far this year.
