Case of three members of Public Service Media’s bid committee – suspected of corruption in awarding some of PSM’s interior design work to a certain company – has been sent to Prosecutor General’s Office.
An official from the PG Office reported that the case was sent to the agency by Anti-Corruption Commission in December. And that the agency was reviewing the case.
The three officials suspected of corruption are:
1. Mohamed Hamid, Dhoores, H. A. Filladhoo
2. Mohamed Nazeer, Ma. Vanillage, Male’ City
3. Ahmed Haneef, Rhythm, H. Dh. Maavaidhoo
They are suspected of violating the criteria of bid evaluation in giving marks to companies which sent in bids in correspondence to an announcement made on April 19, 2016 for some interior design work. And awarding the project to a company which did not fit the criteria.
