88 Maldivian companies to take part in ITB Berlin

Over 260 groups from 88 Maldivian companies have taken part in the world’s leading travel show, ITB Berlin.

A pre-meeting was held for the participants at Hotel Jen today to give information on the ITB Berlin 2017 which would be held from 8-12 March. The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) took part in the information meeting today.

Tourism Minister Moosa Zameer and the Managing Director of MMPRC, Haaris Mohamed is set to accompany the Maldivian companies to Berlin.

Over 10,000 exhibitors from 187 countries are set to take part in the fair this year.

ITB Berlin is the largest tourism trade fair in the world serving as market place for the companies represented at the fair range from hotels, tourist boards and tour operators to system providers. Every year, over 60,000 independent people visit the fair along with over 26,000 convention visitors.
