Saudi embassy commends Nabeeh with USD 1,000

Saudi Arabian embassy in Maldives has commended 14-year-old Al-Hafiz Ahmed Nabeeh with USD 1,000 for his efforts in successfully by hearting the book of Holy Quran within three months.

Nabeeh had been trying to get enrolled in private Quran classes since the age of two years, but was rejected due to his autism.

He finally learned the Quran by hiring a private tutor.

Nabeeh was gifted with a golden book of Holy Quran and USD 1,000 by the Saudi ambassador, Bader Ali Alkahail in a function held at the embassy this Sunday.

The Saudi diplomats including the ambassador listened to Nabeeh’s recitation of Quran and commended him on his success.

Nabeeh has also been given the opportunity for free higher studies in the field of Quran up to master’s degree by Islamic University of Maldives.
