Eve Garments donates dustbins to schools

Ministry of Education has officially accepted 240 dustbins donated by Eve Garments to schools across the country.

The donation was accepted by Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Shiham in a function held this Sunday morning at the Civil Service Commission seminar room in Velana Building.

During the function, Director of Eve Garments, Ahmed Nusaad said the donation was an effort by the business to support Ministry of Education to encourage cleanliness among school students.

Minister Dr. Aishath Shiham said that it was important to instill the habit of cleanliness among students. She said that cleanliness and nutritious food was vital for good health.

Dr. Aishath Shiham said students needed to be given additional responsibility of keeping their classrooms and schools clean.

She also commended private parties for their donations to improving the schooling system. And thanked Eve Garments for its donation.
