Highrise: Living Expo opportune for apartment hunting

Event organizer Highrise has commented Maldives Living Expo was a great opportunity for Maldivians to apartment hunt with ease, with the increase in involvement of Maldivian real estate industry in the expo.

Maldives Living Expo is an event to showcase living and lifestyle products available in Maldives, held annually since 2013.

Maldives Living Expo 2016 saw the increase in involvement of Maldivian real estate industry and South East Asian service industry.

In a press conference last Sunday, founder of Highrise, Ismail Hameed (Highrise Isse) said that this year’s event will see further involvement by real estate industry with participation of additional real estate developers operating in Maldives.

Isse said visitors to the expo will be able to check apartment options and put their names down for registration.

“You will be able to compare multiple properties from one place. Which one is good, which one is the most stable option,” said Isse.

He said that property options will range from luxury apartments to more economic apartments.

Main sponsor of Maldives Living Expo, SeaLife Global said that the company chose to participate in the event in order to provide more convenient options for the people.

“Most of the people in Male’ live on rent. This is a good opportunity to buy apartments. The expo is a convenient opportunity to sell apartments and is participated by multiple parties; it is with this intention we chose to participate. We want to provide more options to Maldivians, to provide more convenience to Maldivians,” said Managing Director of SeaLife Global, Ahmed Moosa Mohamed.

Co-sponsor of the event, a subsidiary of Tata Housing - APEX Realty announced it will be opening retail spaces in apartment complexes Male’ Grand and Male’ Square for lease during the expo.

APEX Realty said interested parties had the option of leasing the retail spaces for up to 50 years.

Maldives Living Expo will be held from February 16 to February 18 at the National Art Gallery.
