Islamic Ministry team to travel to Thinadhoo to distribute alms

A team from Ministry of Islamic Affairs is scheduled to travel to G. Dh. Thinadhoo on Wednesday, December 28, to distribute zakat al-mal to those registered as poor in the island.

The five-people team will be headed by Executive Coordinator of Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Al-Sheikh Ali Shareef.

Ministry of Islamic Affairs reports that 701 people from Thinadhoo have registered as poor.

The alms distribution will be carried out through collaboration between Ministry of Islamic Affair and Thinadhoo Council – from 10:30 am to 4 pm.

The team from Ministry of Islamic Affairs will be travelling back to Male’ on the same day.

A team from Ministry of Islamic Affairs also traveled to Addu City for distribution of alms, earlier this month.
