Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has said that the man attacked with a sharp object in Hulhumalé last night has eight wounds on his head and is being treated at the emergency room.
The man injured in the attack that took place near the No. 1 Flat in Hulhumalé last night was initially treated at the Hulhumalé Hospital before he was transferred to IGMH around midnight last night.
Information Officer of IGMH, Ahmed Mausoom said today that a 22-year-old man was brought from Hulhumalé with eight wounds on the head from a sharp object following an attack last night.
He said that the patient is currently in the Emergency Room in stable condition.
A Media Official of the Police said that no arrests have been made so far in relation to the attack in Hulhumalé last night.
