Eem Nizam holds a children's evening in Addu City

Singer Eem Nizam has held an evening for the children of Feydhoo, Addu City at the Children's Park today entitled "An Evening with Eem Nizam".

Volunteers who contributed to the event include the police, who brought their vehicles so children may take pictures on them, and JCI Addu who actively was in charge of the Sponge Bob activity. Additional activities during the event include face painting.

Eem highlighted that Sun Foundation and Hussain Shuhaiz from Avance Maldives Pvt. Ltd. was very helpful in event planning. Other co-sponsors such as Grand Empress, Brilliant Trading, Handmade by Eem Nizam and Malé Beauty Salon were highlighted too.

With only 200 expected guests the event received with 400 guests and was a huge success.

The singer said that she could not make it as big as she wanted as it was arranged last minute; but she is looking forward for a bigger and more fun event for the people of Addu in the future.

She also expressed her gratitude to the volunteers and all the sponsors of the event for making her “idea and event” a reality with a special thanks to the main sponsor. Her message to everyone is to stay united and to keep volunteering in the future for such events which could be aimed to bring joy to the children.
