Police have been ordered to escort former Press Secretary of President’s Office, Mohamed Zuhair to Civil Court.
“Sun” has been informed that Zuhair - who had been a top official during former Maldivian President, Mohamed Nasheed’s tenure in office – is being summoned after he was found guilty in a lawsuit pressed by Bank of Maldives.
Previous attempts to summon him to court have failed.
Zuhair is reportedly living in Sri Lanka at the moment.
Police are also looking for Ali Mohamed – Kaashidhooge, G. Dh. Gadhdhoo, and Mohamed Ishaam – Haveereenaaz, M. Maduvvari – to escort them to court.
They are to escorted to court on November 17.
