Chinese government donates scan machine to IGMH

Chinese government has donated an ultra sound scan machine to State hospital, Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

The digital color developer scanner, which can take color scans of the womb of expectant mothers is worth approximately MVR 1 million.

The agreement for the donation was signed in a ceremony held this Monday at IGMH Orchid Maalam by Chinese ambassador, Wang Fukang, and medical director of IGMH, Dr. Ali Nazeen.

IGMH already has three of the type of ultra sound scanner, and one regular ultra sound scanner in use at the hospital.
