Police reports its expected to take about three months for the final postmortem report of the 5-month boy who died while under State care at Children’s Shelter “Fiyavathi” in Hulhumale’.
The child had died after reported “breathing difficulties” on October 17.
Police media official informed “Sun” the authority had received the initial postmortem report on the child’s death from India, but were waiting on the final report.
“We have received the initial report. As its being further analyzed, it could take even three months for the final report,” said the media official.
Police have not given any indication on what the initial postmortem report indicated.
The child’s body has been buried.
