MPL laborer in stable condition after accident

The Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) laborer who was hurt in a workplace accident when a glass pallet fell over him is in stable condition, according to Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

The incident where a glass pallet fell over the 34-year-old man took place at the MPL site at approximately 8:12 pm, last Saturday.

IGMH media official reported to “Sun” this Sunday that the man suffered no critical injuries.

“He has some injuries on his chest. But he is in stable condition. He’s admitted,” said the media official.
