Bolivian woman arrested trafficking 2 kg of cocaine into Maldives

Maldives Customs Service has arrested a Bolivian woman carrying 2.153 kg of narcotics into Maldives.

The narcotics was found inside the luggage of the woman, who had travelled to Maldives from Brazil last Monday, October 17.

Customs said that Maldives wasn’t the final destination of the woman, and that the country was just used as a transit point.

The narcotics had tested positive for cocaine.

The woman is under police detention, and the cocaine had been handed over to police as well.
